Today was another busy day. We started our day with ignite, students chose to go to another exciting option. Our room hosted lava lamp experiments using oil, water and seltzer. After ignite we had another All About Me presentation from Lydia. It was our first day trying writing without the sentence starter for this writing task. After gym we had our spelling test and then made growing patterns using bingo dabbers. Please look for 2 patterns you see at home and bring these ideas for tomorrow (try to look for a growing pattern). After lunch we had our Orange Shirt day presentation from Ms.Harmony. We came back and wrote/drew ideas on a quarter circle of how we can create safe and caring schools. To end our day we had a walking field trip to bring awareness to orange shirt day. A big thank you to Jacqui (Owens mom), Leisa (Lydias mom) and Melanie (Declans mom) for helping us out on our walk. Tomorrow we will be discussing aspects of community that we recognized on our walk.
