Thank you to everyone who helped out at or attended the Meet the Teacher night yesterday. If you missed this, I will be sending home information booklets to take a peek at.
We are entering our 4th week of school next week, heres what to expect:
- Monday spelling test on last weeks words.
- Tuesday new spelling words
- Terry Fox run Tuesday pm
- Pillars of Care assembly Friday am
- Baseline math assessment
- We will be working on increasing/decreasing patterns as well as our familiarity with the hundreds chart.
- We will be doing work around orange shirt day, reading the book when I was 8 and discussing how this has effected both indigenous communities from the prairies as well as the Inuit.
- We will be comparing the viscosity of liquids and testing how different materials . absorb liquids.
- We will continue our work on writing detailed sentences.
- We will look at Terry Fox's impact on Canada
