Today we had our Pillars of Care Assembly. Congratulations to this months winner: Lydia, Ava, Owen, Chloe and Ginny. Also a big congratulations to all our punctuality awards winners, 14/19 students have not been late once this year! After our assembly we had reading buddies and then wrote our next All About Me page about Chloe. To end our day we learned how to draw eyes, to work towards our updated self portraits.

Going Home:
Our first month of Grade 2 time capsules! Please take a look, sign and return Monday. 

What to expect next week:

• For those who returned home reading forms, home reading information (logins or books) will begin being sent home Monday.
• 'ea' words spelling list, spelling test Monday/new words going home Monday
• Science- exploring liquids- mixing liquids lab 
• Social studies- Me, my community, my city, my province, my country, my world.
• Math- Increasing patterns/ skip counting
• ELA- Writing sentences without a sentence starter
• Orange Shirt Day Monday- please wear your orange shirt
• Walking field trip Monday at 1:30 pm - thank you to Owens mom Jacqui for volunteering to join us already. Other volunteers with security checks are more than welcome to come along on this beautiful fall walk!
