Today we had a building challenge to see who could build the tallest structure out of spaghetti noodles and marshmallows. Check out some of our creations below. In math we looked at what makes odd numbers odd and even numbers even. We used this information to identify odd and even numbers as well as to find the odd/even pattern on the hundreds board. We played a guessing math game using the words less than or greater than to find a mystery number. In language arts/ health we read the book All are Welcome and discussed how we can create a sense of belonging in our classroom. We used this discussion to do a writing piece and to draw a picture to go along with it.
Please check backpacks for digital citizenship forms as well as a parent council newsletter.
*Digital citizenship forms must be returned before your student can access technology (iPads,computers,etc..) at the school.
Thank you,
Miss.Cox
